Terms of Service

1. Scope & Provider

These Terms apply to all contracts between Unconventional CV (the "Provider") and users regarding use of the platform at https://bewerbung.unconventionalcv.co.

2. Subject Matter & Services

Unconventional CV is an online platform for creating values-driven application pages. The services include:

• Creation of a personalized application page via AI
• Provision of a publicly reachable URL
• Editing and updates in the user dashboard
• Free CV check with a written report via email

3. Requirements & Account

Full use requires creating an account. The information provided must be truthful. Users are responsible for securing their credentials.

4. Trial

New users receive a 7-day trial with unrestricted functionality. During the trial, users can create any number of applications. After the trial ends, shared links are paused until a paid plan is selected.

5. Plans, Prices & Payment

Current plans and prices are shown on the subscription page. Payments are processed via Stripe. Users are informed of the price before every paid step.

• Bold: 1 simultaneously active application
• Determined: 5 simultaneously active applications
• Unstoppable: 15 simultaneously active applications

Deleted applications do not count against the limit.

6. Term & Cancellation

Subscriptions automatically renew for the selected period unless cancelled in time.

• Monthly plans: cancellable daily up to 24h before renewal
• Annual plans: cancellable daily up to 24h before renewal

Cancellation is done via the Stripe customer portal, reachable from your profile page.

7. Usage Rights & Content

The user grants Unconventional CV the right to process uploaded content (CVs, job descriptions) solely for the purpose of providing the contractual service. Copyright remains with the user. After contract termination, user data is deleted after 30 days unless legal retention requirements apply.

8. AI Usage & Disclaimer for AI Content

The platform uses AI models from Google (Gemini) for analysis and text generation. Generated content serves as a starting point. Users are obligated to review and, if necessary, adjust content before publication. The Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated texts.

9. Liability

The Provider is fully liable for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, the Provider only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages.

Liability for data loss is limited to the effort required to restore from a proper backup.

10. Privacy

Privacy is governed by the separate Privacy Policy. Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR.

11. Severability & Amendments

Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Amendments to the Terms will be communicated to users at least 6 weeks in advance via email. If the user does not object within 4 weeks, the amendment is deemed accepted.

12. Jurisdiction & Applicable Law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is the seat of the Provider, insofar as the user is a merchant or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
