Your data is in good hands with us.
This page is maintained by the team behind Unconventional CV and answers the most common questions about security, privacy, and how we handle your content. It's editorial content, not an external certification.
What we process
We only store what you actively give us: name, email, uploaded CVs, cover letters, portfolio files, and the content of your application pages. For the CV check, we add your answers about target role and motivation.
We don't sell data and we don't use it for advertising networks outside of our own communication with you.
Access protection
- Application pages and talent profiles are only reachable via their link; editing is owner-only.
- Uploaded CVs live in a private storage bucket. Only our team can access them via authenticated server functions.
- Database access is secured by Row Level Security (RLS) — every row is only visible to those authorized.
- Sign-in with email/password or Google. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Transmission & storage
All connections run over HTTPS. Data is stored with our backend provider (Lovable Cloud / Supabase, EU region). The website is hosted via Cloudflare.
AI analyses (e.g. CV check) run through the Lovable AI Gateway. We only transmit the content necessary for the respective evaluation, and nothing more.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your application pages from your dashboard at any time. CV-check data is kept until you request deletion — an email to support@unconventionalcv.co is enough.
Backups are created regularly and automatically overwritten after a short period.

- Resend — sending transactional and CV-check emails
- Lovable AI Gateway — AI-powered analyses

Your rights
You are entitled at any time to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability of your personal data. A short email is enough.

What we don't promise
We try to stay honest: this page is not an external certification and not an audit report. If you need formal proofs (e.g. ISO, SOC 2, DPA), reach out — we'll discuss what we can provide.
